We wanted to take a moment to update you on the status of the podcast and our host, JP.

Since the beginning of March, we’ve been revisiting foundational Bible study principles from earlier episodes. There hasn’t been a new episode released lately, and we appreciate your patience and continued interest.

Early in February, JP underwent triple bypass surgery. While the surgery was initially thought to have went well, it was quickly followed by a series of critical complications—including pneumonia, a tracheotomy, and the amputation of one leg. He has now been in the hospital for eight weeks and continues to recover.

JP is currently still hospitalized and healing. We do not yet know when he will be able to return to recording. It may be some time but we are confident in the Lord’s timing and trust in His perfect plan.

JP and his family are deeply grateful for your prayers and support during this time. Please continue to pray for JP for healing, strength, and encouragement; as well as for his wife and children, that God would uphold, encourage, and surround them with His grace. Please also pray for his other family as they are helping to care for him and his family, and pray for the medical team caring for JP.

In the meantime, we encourage you to stay faithful in the Word. Keep reading your Bible every day, study it carefully, and apply it to your walk. As JP often reminds us the answers aren’t found in the opinions of men, but in the Word of God: so stay in the Book!

We’ll share more updates as we’re able. Thank you for walking the old paths with us and for standing with our brother in Christ. God is faithful.

“Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls…” Jeremiah 6:16
